About Physio Chair
Welcome to our project dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with limited mobility due to Arthritis or frozen shoulder. Our main objective is to develop a Multi-Exercise Physiotherapeutic Chair that is both creative and reasonably priced, specifically designed to address the unique needs of this population.
We envision a world where everyone, regardless of age or mobility limitations, can access effective physiotherapy solutions. Production drawings are essential for manufacturing of any product such as chair as they provide precise dimensions, materials, and finishes for each part, ensuring accuracy and consistency. These act as a universal language among designers, engineers, and manufacturers, clearly conveying all necessary information. These drawings include tolerances for quality control and detailed assembly instructions, streamlining the production process and reducing errors. By maintaining uniform standards, production drawings ensure each chair is produced consistently and efficiently, meeting design specifications and quality requirements.

The team collaborated to devise the most economical and effective way to prototype the "Multi-Exercise Physiotherapeutic Chair". After the Design Phase, we conducted a market investigation to identify vendors and estimate component costs, exploring local and online stores to find affordable, in-stock parts.
Using CAD software, we developed a detailed digital model of the chair, assessing ergonomics, structural integrity, and assembly feasibility to optimize the design for manufacturing and functionality. This led to a thorough inventory of required components, covering construction materials, seat elements, and flexible mechanisms.
We then performed a pricing comparison to find cost-effective suppliers, considering unit prices, volume discounts, shipping costs, and delivery times to stay within budget. An analysis determined which components to purchase and which to produce in-house, factoring in technical skills, resource availability, time constraints, and budget to ensure project success.
